Guest Artist Performance: NICOLE CABELL
Through mid-January Nicole Cabell is performing at Lyric Opera of Chicago in Mozart’s The Magic Flute.
John Von Rhein of the Chicago Tribune wrote:
Pamina is the ideal Mozart role for Cabell, and the Ryan Opera Center's star alumna fulfilled every requirement. Thanks to her creamy soprano, poised line and expressive phrasing, the heroine's lovelorn aria, "Ach, ich fuhls," was infused with delicate pathos, while the Pamina-Papageno duet went like a dream.
The full review can be found here.
An in-depth review with Nicole Cabell can be found on the Chicago Classical Review website.
Nicole Cabell will perform in Cincinnati on Friday, May 18, 2012 in Brahms’ A German Requiem.
